Timeless Tuesday

I am sorry this took me so long to post, I have been extremely busy once again. This is great for school since it has just a hint of color. It is also a great daytime look for whatever you are doing, shopping, running around or just out with your boyfriend. The best part is that it is super fast to do, I usually do this on a lazy day when I don't feel like getting all dolled up :)

First apply primer, foundation, concealer, powder, eyelid primer and fill in your eyebrows. I am only using three eyeshadow colors for this look. Using Cover Girls Coffee Shop 260 eyeshadow quad we will start with the second shade of brown. You will apply that all over the base of your eyelid then take a blending brush and blend the color up beyond the crease of your eyelid. Fade the color up and out.

Then take the darkest color of brown and apply right above your crease. Do the same with this color fade the color up and out. Be careful how much you bring the color out, you don't want to get too close to your eyebrow.

Using the white color in the quad and apply right on your brow bone and also in the inner corner of your eye. This will help brighten your eyes and accentuate your eyebrows.

You now want to line the top of your eyes very lightly. Using Stila's Smudge Pot in black cat apple a very thin line. You want to make it very faint since you want the colorful eyeliner to stick out more. This just helps give your eyes a shape and completes the look, without it your eyes look naked.

Now take an eye pencil your choice of the color and apply on your waterline. If your pencil doesn't show much on your waterline then apply also on your lower lash line. Don't worry about getting too thick of a line, just take a q-tip dipped in eye makeup remover and clean up the line a bit. I am using Cargo's Swimmables waterproof pencil which doesn't apply as smoothly as I'd like it to but I applied just below my lower lashes and I really liked the look. MAC has really good pencils that apply nicely on your waterline they also have really vibrant colors. Don't have any colorful eyeliners? You can use eyeshadow! Choose and eyeshadow and you can do one of two things, either just apply it on your lower lash line with a flat brush dry or apply wet. This also gives you a lot more options if you don't have many eyeliners that are "stand out" colors.

For blush I just stuck with the bronzed look, I am actually using an eyeshadow for a bronzer/blush. I just applied right under my cheek bones and a light brush on my nose, chin and forehead. I am just using Ulta's brown eyeshadow. You can use either an eyeshadow, or bronzer, depending on the look you want.

Curl and apply your favorite mascara. Apply a lipgloss with a bit of a brownish sparkly tint to finish off the look :) See how easy that was? You want to try it yourself now don't ya? ;) If you have any questions or if I didn't make sense and you are confused by my horrible rambling then email me! If you have any suggestions or want to know how to do/apply something drop me an email at

Pretty Little Darling

We all have those days where we don't know what to do with our hair, and we don't want to do the same hairstyle everyday. Well I have the solution to getting fabulous hair in minutes. Sexy red carpet waves:

Best part about this look? Is that it's not all that time consuming.First don't put any product in your hair while it is damp. Blow dry your hair, you don't need to blow dry it straight. Just make sure it is all dry. Part hair into sections, (pictured at left) you really only need to do three sections. Take a 1 inch curling iron of your choice, and no you don't need a Chi curling iron. There is definitely no need to spend that amount of money on a curling iron. Take a small section of hair and curl it. Do this throughout your entire head. You don't have to make sure the curls are even or messy. Do not spray hair spray or any other product before curling. Make sure you get each section. When all your head is curled take your bristled brush and brush through your hair. No no, don't worry it won't frizz :) This will actually help it to be soft and smooth. After you have brushed your hair and like the way it lays then take some hair spray, use a light hair spray you don't want your hair sticky. And spritz it lightly all over.

FINISHED! :)

Fast and easy huh? OPTIONAL:
Don't have a straightener? Your bangs doing crazy things? You can actually use your curling iron to curl your hair! ;) Yep thats right. All you have to do is take the hair place it on the iron and close the handle just a bit but not all the way closed and pull the hair through. Tada! :)
So next time you need a quick hair fix, try this out and you won't have a dull hair day again ;)

Soft in 60 Seconds

So everyone has been yelling at me to do new posts and I am so sorry! :S I have been super busy last week I had to go to a funeral and was all over the place and hardly had any access to a computer. I also have been working lots this week since well duh it is Christmas on Friday! :D This post will be short and sweet. But I promise that on Wednesday I will have a makeup tutorial :)

Living in Vegas and especially since it is winter. My hands are so dryer than the desert! :p But thankfully my sister recommended this amazing treatment, from one of my favorite stores! :) Crabtree and Evelyn :) My sister works there actually :) But anyways onto blogging.

Feel your hands as they are right now, just to keep a mental record of how different they will feel ;)

Everything you need is inside this tiny box. (Right) First of course take off your rings and bracelets so you don't any lotion on them. I always forgot to take mine off and always had a bunch of lotion stuck inside where the rinestone is! -.- hahaha
Now first use the La Source skin therapy hand recovery scrub. Squeeze about a dime sized amount into the palm of your hand and rub all over your hands. Do not

add water yet. Make sure you rub it in really good and even rub it into your cuticles to soften them up. Pay attention to rough edges or cracked skin to soften them up. Do this for about 10 seconds. Then add water and continue to rub it in for about 5 seconds. Next rinse your hands really well and get all of the scrub off your hands. After you rinsed it all off you want to pat your hands dry with a towel. Make sure they are completely dry before you move onto the next step. And finally you want to use the Las Source Hand Therapy lotion (Pictured left above). Take a dime sized amount and rub it into your hands. A little goes a long way, trust me ;) And Viola! You are finished! :D Piece of cake huh? ;D Notice how soft your hands feel dramatically softer! :) I would suggest doing this at least once a week. However I do this almost daily since my hands get dry frequently. But the choice is up to you.

You can purchase this quick fix at Crabtree & Evelyn for $24 :)
